Music-Inspired Senior Photos in Houston, TX
This Dawson High School senior session was one for the books. Grant brought his guitar, passion, personality, and unique style to the shoot — everything a photographer could hope for when capturing senior portraits with personality.
From the start, we wanted to create something that felt authentic and true to him. The industrial setting was the perfect backdrop for a music-inspired senior photo shoot, giving us gritty textures, dramatic lighting, and rockstar energy. Grant’s session was filled with moments that captured the essence of who he is right now and where he’s going next.
Grant is part of the Class of 2025 at Dawson High School, and after graduation, he’s heading to the University of Texas Arlington to study Audio Engineering. His love for metal music and sound design runs deep, and UTA's College of Music is the perfect place for him to take that passion to the next level.
Grant doesn’t just play the bass — he also plays the saxophone and enjoys going to live concerts whenever he gets the chance. Whether he’s performing or soaking in the sound from the crowd, music is a constant in his life. It’s that combination of artistry and passion that made this session so powerful to capture.
We blended rock musician senior photos with traditional poses to create a well-rounded gallery. The result is a session that balances boldness and vulnerability — a perfect fit for a senior stepping into adulthood with a clear sense of purpose.
This session was everything I love about being a Houston senior photographer — real connection, artistic vision, and celebrating a story that's just beginning. Grant, thank you for trusting me with these memories. UTA is lucky to have you!
